What a cup this is turning out to be, with the group stages finishing off this week, teams will go in to their matches knowing what is needed. All teams players must know what their doing and have their serious heads on. On with the predictions!




Group 1

iR. vs. Epidemic

After winning over Fate in a freak default, iR are right back in this cup! With 3 points a piece to all teams in this group, it's tense, very tense, this match determines one of the two teams who will progress in to the next round. Epidemic though, I feel are a strong team and will just about win this match!

My prediction is Epidemic 16 – 11 iR


Fate vs. DFA

I didn't see this match being so important when I got offered the job as I thought these two teams would go through regardless. But now, I mean, one of the 2 teams will be knocked out in the group stages, an upset for any team! with DFA loosing 4 of their main members, I don't think they'll be ready for the onslaught of Fate but never the less I still see this match being close but with Fate taking the win!

My prediction is Fate 16 – 13 DFA


Group 2

AfraidG vs. [tdm]

[tdm] will look to stop the brute force of the Latvian machine that is AfraidG. With AfraidG demolishing both NarChaD and Syndicate, [tdm] must be nervous and slightly doubtful from their performances so far. I don't see them bringing anything special out against a team that hasn't shown any sings of loosing.

My prediction is AfraidG 16 – 3 [tdm]


NarChaD vs. Syn

NarChaD, one of the favourites, getting demolished last week, will know this is their last chance to get in to the quarter finals and will come out all guns blazing at an equally strong Syndicate team, both teams on 3 points don't really have a “We'll bring it back next week” option, and this is crunch time!

My prediction is Narchad 16 – 8 Syn



Group 3

Eleventh vs. FF$

With both teams passing the group stages with flying colours, this week will just be a warm up of what's to come in the quarter finals. FF$, having a fairly big roster may swap the team about to give the others a shot in the cup or may stick to a tight team. Though I do think Eleventh will take this win.

My prediction is eleventh 16 – 7 FF$


GT! vs. QcKeSports

Well, a very late drop out by [TTK] means that the replacement team is joining for a mere consolation prize and not for a quarter final place. QcKeSports were the team to fill in and they'll face GT! From recent results of both teams, it looks like QcKeSports will win!

My prediction is QcKeSports 16 – 5 GT!


Group 4

som. vs. Corruption

Som and Corruption, both through to the Quarters like took an impressive win last week hardly dropping any rounds and are now expected to progress into the knock-out stage. This match is quite a big one as the two have a mutual rivalry and so this shall be a good match to watch. As a result, I'd say it's going to be to close to call.

My prediction is som. 15 – 15 Corruption


×Sect.8× vs. -=ES=-

×Sect.8× and -=ES=- will also be a good match to watch, two teams of the same skill go head to head. A little bit too late but shall be very close. With ×Sect.8× coming in to this match after loosing 16-8 to som. their confidence however knowing they could've won against som. will be high and so I think this will lead them to victory!

My prediction is ×Sect.8× 16 – 10 -=ES =-
